New Year of Programs

As faculty members of the University of Florida we enjoy the privilege of inservice training and professional development that helps us to stay current in our fields and in the delivery of the information. I'm in Gainesville today at a training for Extension 4-H agents, volunteers, and others who participate in the 4-H program.I taught this morning, and now I am in a workshop to refresh my skills in social networking, blogging, and other contemporary communication skills. So, I realize I haven't posted since before the holidays! Time Flies! My goodness, we have a new baby (Amanda Thien, our 4-H agent, brings the baby to work now and then), we celebrated the holidays at our 4-H fashion revue and talent show event, and we have completed our 2009 narrative reports and plans of work for the new year. All of our agents and our volunteers are hard at work designing new programs that help to improve the quality of life and work here in Nassau County. We will be convening our advisory committees soon so that we stay tuned into your needs and recommendations for our continued success. Want to learn more?
